How does Invisalign® work?

Invisalign® utilizes a series of clear aligners, or trays, developed from digital impressions and images taken of your mouth. On the other hand, traditional braces utilize fixed wires and brackets to set your teeth into alignment. This makes them very noticeable to others and can often cause pain and discomfort. As mentioned, Invisalign® uses a series of aligners that, as you progress through them, slowly pull your teeth into proper alignment with gentle yet constant pressure. Once your teeth have aligned appropriately for a given set of trays, you move on to the next one in the series. The best part is that these aligners are incredibly comfortable, and no one will be able to notice you are wearing them.
